In Unit 1.1 you will learn about the basics of rural tourism, its types, forms, and most common activities. You will understand the importance and benefits or rural tourism for society and the economy.
UNIT 1.2 ROLE OF ARCHITECTURE, HISTORY AND CULTURE IN TOURISM
In Unit 1.2 you will learn more about the specific role of architecture, history and culture in the tourism industry.
UNIT 1.3 TOURISM AND BIODIVERSITY
In Unit 1.3 you will learn about natural and biological diversity and its relation to tourism.
UNIT 1.4 IMPACT OF TOURISM
In Unit 1.4 you will learn about mass tourism and all the negative impact it can bring to the environment and society, which may result in anti-tourism movements. You will also learn about the existing alternatives to mass tourism.
